[Cookie Jar Gone Wrong]

Really overrated

The voice acting was good and the "ah fucking hell IT HAS RAISINS!" line made me laugh but aside from that this flash was just okay. I don't really get how this is in the top 10 let alone top 50 when the artwork is forgettable and the animation is sub-par. The kid's facial expressions were plain and didn't really express fear or anything, all the heads were static motion tweens, and the artwork of the furniture and the character's body looked really lazy and well, bad.

The flash as a whole isn't bad it's just not spectacular. It doesn't deserve the really high score and top 10 place when there are so many flashes out there with better art, animation, effort, and humor but I guess the small joke in this flash just makes all the little kids on Newgrounds piss their pants in laughter.

I mean god damn, your animating and artwork is so close to perfect you should be in a pimpin studio animating hit TV shows and features. I've been going through the frames of different scenes every other day to see how you do your magic, so don't think those controls are going to waste either. Can't wait to see what you make next!

About the perspective issue, google 'perspective drawing' and you should find dozens of tutorials that will help you out with that. There are actual methods to getting the perspective of shapes and buildings down perfectly. Once I read two to three good tutorials about it all my backgrounds I draw now for my projects are perfect.

Aside from that, you could also improve on your facial animation. At the scene where the detectives are talking to one another, their eyes and face were pretty static, and when you had one of them moving their eyebrows, it looked like he was twitching. Just spend more time making their eyebrows move more dynamicaly and make them blink their eyes, cause I swore they didn't blink once. Anyways, good job! I like the artwork and the fighting scenes where great!

Nice!

Very funny, and you didn't have to resort to any crappy gags like dicks, overabundance of gore, or shock humor, which is a plus. Your actual animating is good, nice frame by framing and no abuse of tweens, but I have one giff; your line quality could be improved alot simply by using a smaller brush thickness. As it is now, it looks kinda sloppy with it being very thick and uneven, so that's just a little suggestion I can make. All in all, good short, made me laugh more then once hehe.

At first the lip syncing was appauling, but at the judge scene I noticed you improved on that. Aside from that, the animating and artwork are crude, I hope to see you improve on those aspects for part 3.
